Saiyaara’s official trailer, directed by Mohit Suri, has finally released, and it guarantees a rollercoaster ride of love, music, and heartbreak. The movie features debutantes Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in their highly awaited debut, and will hit the theatres on July 18.
A Love Story Born Through Music
Released on YRF’s official YouTube channel, this two-minute-long trailer sets up Ahaan Panday as Krish Kapoor, a wannabe singer, and Aneet Padda as an eager songwriter. Their musical collaboration soon turns into a love story, as there is instant chemistry in the scenes of music, laughter, and soft-spoken confessions in the trailer. Things, however, take a rather negative turn.
Twists, Betrayal, and Emotional Turmoil
In a surprise turn of events, Aneet’s character is seen threatening teary-eyed Krish with a knife, telling him to leave an event. The trailer suggests emotional trauma and a broken relationship, showing a darker, sensitive side of Krish. Seasoned actor Varun Badola, who plays Krish’s father, delivers a dramatic line: “Apne pyaar ke liye na khud ko khatam mat kar lena” (Don’t destroy yourself for love). Another scene reveals Aneet’s character getting married, adding to the mystery and heartbreak.
A Musical Comeback for Mohit Suri
Saiyaara marks director Mohit Suri’s return to the musical romance genre, after iconic hits like Aashiqui 2. The film’s soulful music is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, with emotional and melodic tones hinted at in the trailer.

Directed by YRF’s CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara is also a product of years of nurturing, as Ahaan Panday worked under the mentorship of Aditya Chopra for more than six years before making his debut in the limelight.
Saiyaara releases in theaters on July 18, 2025 promising love, anguish, and redemption in a story.
