Fans have been eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor to spread his magic with Shamshera. While the teaser has already garnered a lot of positive response, the trailer looks even more promising. The film is all set to release on July 22. The trailer of the film was released by the makers on Friday, June 24.
Ranbir Kapoor as Shamshera is mesmerizing, to say the least. His acting prowess is on clear display throughout the railer. Sanjay Dutt’s intense avatar as Daroga Shuddh Singh, also leaves us asking for more. Vaani Kapoor appears as Sona, a dancer who captures Shamshera’s heart.
The trailer started with the story set in 1871, and showed Ranbir Kapoor as a dacoit who steals from the wealthy. Vaani Kapoor makes an entry as a dancer and warns him not to act daredevil with the British governance. Sanjay Dutt, a ruthless cop, is brought to Kaza to bring Shamshera under control. At the end of the trailer, Ranbir’s appearance in a double role is confirmed as they appear in a single frame.
Shamshera has been directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by YRF Films. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor.
