Bollywood’s leading ladies Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone, once again showcased their charm and camaraderie as they attended ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s 25th-anniversary event in Mumbai. The event turned into a viral sensation, thanks to a heartwarming video where Alia was spotted capturing Deepika’s mesmerizing walk on the runway.
Deepika Padukone, mother-to-child since September, has indeed turned up for fashion weeks wearing Sabyasachi in an avowedly classic ensemble with no touch of current modernity. Deepika wears a trench over top and pant with layered necklaces, set off with ruby and diamonds along her neck. Under these was a long chain, in turn supporting a choker, a cross pendant, a few stacks of bracelets that go above the gloves-the leather kind black in colour. Her headband gave a retro feel and was timeless with the bold strides of her walking ramp like a queen.

Alia Bhatt looked fabulous as she appeared glamorous in the black Sabyasachi saree, while the embellishments on the jewel-encrusted blouse enhanced the excellent artistry of the designer. Appreciative by nature, Alia took to social media and penned a heart-felt note that read, “Sabyasachi, his art is nothing but love. I have been privileged to wear your creations over the years, from global red carpets to personal milestones (wedding memories I’ll forever hold close). Your work isn’t just fashion it’s art, blending tradition and innovation with unmatched finesse.”
