Alia Bhatt recently revealed a delightful aspect of family life that has charmed fans: her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, is quite particular about their daughter Raha’s fashion choices. Contrary to the common perception that mothers typically dress their children, Alia shared that it’s Ranbir who takes an active role in selecting Raha’s outfits. During an interview Alia mentioned how Ranbir meticulously chooses Raha’s clothes, even going so far as to rummage through her wardrobe to put together the perfect ensemble. Alia expressed her trust in his fashion sense, saying, “You’d think that I’d be the one dressing her up, but I am like no, leave it up to him! He will do it really well.”
Alia and Ranbir welcomed their daughter on November 8, 2022. After keeping her face hidden from the public eye initially, they introduced Raha to the world on Christmas 2023. Describing Ranbir’s role as a father, Alia noted that she always knew he would be wonderful in this role. She shared, “The bond that they share is so much fun… They are just so much fun together. Raha and Ranbir are always teasing each other, pulling each other’s legs, they have the funniest conversations, and they make each other laugh!”
Recently, Alia posted a candid photo of Ranbir with Raha at Cannes, where the family attended the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. She captioned the photo, “no caption needed (sic).”
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt is preparing for the release of her upcoming film, Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala. Originally set to release in September, the movie’s premiere has been postponed to October 11.
