For those unaware, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma got married on July 11 in a private ceremony held at their apartment building in Mumbai. The couple had reportedly been in a relationship for 4 years before getting married.
Instead of following traditional wedding customs, Akansha and Sharan chose to have a registered marriage at home. Earlier, News18 Showsha had exclusively reported that the couple would not have traditional pheras or elaborate religious ceremonies. According to a source, they wanted the celebration to focus on their marriage and the presence of their family and close friends rather than following conventional wedding rituals.
