The couple married in December 2017 in a celestial wedding at Borgo Finocchieto, an upscale heritage resort in Tuscany, Italy, with extravagant receptions in Delhi and Mumbai. They had their first child, daughter Vamika, in January 2021 and their second child, son Akaay, on February 15, 2024.
Anushka was last seen professionally in Zero (2018), while Virat gave a recent retirement speech from T20 Internationals after India won the T20 World Cup 2024.
