Filmmaker Karan Johar celebrated Diwali 2025 with warmth, love, and family, sharing a delightful series of photos on Instagram featuring his twins, Yash and Roohi. The trio, dressed in elegant Manish Malhotra-designed ethnic outfits, radiated festive joy as they posed for the camera.
“Happy Diwali to one and all…. May the year be full of light, love and laughter…. From mine to yours … have a happy festive season!!!! Every year we all wear @manishmalhotra05 for the Diwali Pooja,” Karan captioned the post.
The pictures showcased Yash and Roohi as the stars of the celebration. One frame features Roohi holding their pet dog, while other heartwarming images capture the children hugging and kissing their father. The siblings also posed solo, radiating cheer in their vibrant traditional wear.
Karan’s fans flooded the comments with Diwali wishes, admiring the family’s bond and the kids’ festive fashion. “They are so grown up already,” one user noted, while another added, “Big love to the kids!”
This isn’t the first time the filmmaker has shared his family traditions during Diwali. Last year, Karan posted a festive portrait with his mother Hiroo Johar and his children, expressing his gratitude and hopes for love, joy, and mutual respect.
Karan, a proud single father, welcomed Yash and Roohi via surrogacy in 2017. He named his son after his late father, Yash Johar, and his daughter Roohi as a tribute to his mother — an anagram of Hiroo.
