Masaba Gupta’s House of Masaba has unveiled its latest bridal collection, Sabr Shukr Sukoon, with Janhvi Kapoor as the face of the campaign. Showcasing a range of striking looks, the collection celebrates the evolving identity of the modern Indian bride — fierce, gentle, traditional, or unconventional — but always unapologetically herself.
In a video shared by the brand, Janhvi Kapoor is seen channelling various bridal personas, embodying designer Masaba Gupta’s vision for the bride of 2025. “She can be coy, brave, shy, or rebellious. The only thing she needs to be is herself,” Masaba says. Each ensemble is rooted in individuality and reflects the collection’s name — Sabr (patience), Shukr (gratitude), and Sukoon (peace).
The collection includes standout pieces such as a deep rust-brown lehenga, a dramatic sindoori red outfit with a bold headdress, an ivory lehenga for the non-conformist bride, and a gold dhori skirt-blouse combination. A signature accessory from the line, the Sabr Shukr armbandh, adds a symbolic touch to the looks.
Masaba blends her signature design elements — intricate zardozi work, sequins, gota patti embroidery, and layered tassels — to create pieces that are both regal and rooted. Janhvi’s looks are styled with dewy makeup, floral hair arrangements, and statement gold jewellery, enhancing the narrative of a bride who owns her story.
