Taking to Instagram Stories, Katrina — who is expecting the couple’s first child — shared a tender photo of a diya resting in her palm, supported lovingly by Vicky’s hand underneath. She simply captioned it, “Happy Diwali,” while Vicky posted the same image on his profile with a hug emoji, sending love and festive wishes to fans.
While Katrina opted to stay away from the camera, Vicky was seen celebrating with his father, action director Shyam Kaushal, and brother, actor Sunny Kaushal. The trio posed with sparklers on their balcony, capturing the joy and warmth of the festival in a series of cheerful photos.
The Diwali celebration comes at a very special time for the couple, who are preparing to welcome their first child. The family’s low-key yet meaningful celebration reflected their excitement and anticipation for this new chapter.
Recently, Vicky Kaushal spoke about stepping into fatherhood during the Yuvaa Conclave in Mumbai. In a candid chat with Nikhil Taneja, he shared his excitement, saying, “Just being a dad… I am really looking forward to it. I think it’s a huge blessing.” He added with a smile, “Almost there… fingers crossed!” Vicky also hinted that he plans to stay close to home once the baby arrives, joking, “Mujhe lag raha hai ke main ghar se hi nahi nikalne wala hoon.”
