Sitaare Zameen Par Review : A true and sensitive film that combines entertainment with a message.

The sequel or second part of Aamir Khan’s film Taare Zameen Par, released in 2007, Sitaare Zameen Par, has reached the audience. This is a sports comedy drama film. Which is directed by R. S. Prasanna. The film Sitaare Zameen Par is based on the 2018 Spanish film Champions and stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in the lead roles.

Story
Aamir Khan’s film Sitaare Zameen Par tells the story of neuro divergent adults who are struggling in their lives. The story of the film is about an angry coach Gulshan who drives after drinking alcohol and the case reaches the court. The judge finds him guilty and sentences him to three months of basketball coaching for neuro-divergent adults and then Aamir Khan arrives to train these neuro-divergent adults in basketball.

Writing and Direction
The story of the film Sitaare Zameen Par seems true and sensitive, which takes you into the world of neuro divergent people. The film shows how these people struggle in their lives and how they are accepted in the society. The script of the film has been written very beautifully by Divya Nidhi Sharma which has a lot of entertainment, emotion and social message. The screenplay is so tight that the story does not stop anywhere. There is a little serious moment, then there are comedy scenes which get applause. There are many dialogues in the film that stay in the mind. One line that impacted me a lot was, ‘Everyone has their own normal.’ This is the sentence that today’s world needs to hear the most.

The banter between mother and son in the film is also humorous, in which Gulshan’s (Aamir’s) mother makes fun of his height. Director RS Prasanna has directed the film in a very sensitive manner. He has extracted sensitive acting from the entire team.

Acting
Aamir Khan has done a wonderful job as Gulshan. He has portrayed the arrogance and self-awareness of his character in a balanced way. Genelia D’Souza as his wife is like a ray of light in the film. The special thing is that the real stars of this film are ten neuro-divergent actors, who have won hearts with their acting. 10 Neuro Divergent Actors like Arush Dutta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Aayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar.

Music:
Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s music also suits the story. Although its songs do not seem as popular as Tare Zameen Par, they do not create any hindrance in the story of this film and the songs become a part of the story. Ram Sampath’s background score is also brilliant which enhances the visuals of the film.

Conclusion
The topic of dyslexia was beautifully raised in the movie Tare Zameen Par and the movie said that every child is special. The story of its second part Sitaare Zameen Par takes us to the world of neuro-divergent people and in this film it is being said that someone has to fight for those who are different. Once again Aamir Khan has tried to make the kind of film he is known for. The film Sitaare Zameen Par will make you laugh, cry and force you to think.
