Giving out duds at Box-office is not harmful but what is really demeaning is being part of unworthy, embarrassing movies. Though we are not making any perception about the caliber & potential of an actor like Ajay Devgn, there are few flicks which the superstar would also want disown like us or he might always regret of.
While we take a look at the disasters he readily (& repeatedly) did, we also hope Ajay steers clear of it in future.
ACTION JACKSON: With the actor putting on his dancing shoes, everyone deemed it to be an image changeover for Ajay Devgn and the most-anticipated spectacle of the year. On the contrary filmmaker Prabhu Dheva and Ajay’s combination was shunned by all.
SON OF SARDAR:It seems Ajay didn’t really think before signing up this film. Looking at this choice we believe the ambition of ruling box-office has replaced doing performance-driven films (that Ajay has always been known for).
HIMMATWALA:After watching Ajay in this Sajid Khan directed venture, everyone just wondered what’s wrong with the star for making such an atrocious choice.
RASCALS:Where Ajay did award-winning and sensible cinema like ZAKHM, THE LEGEND OF BHAGAT SINGH, OMKARA, COMPANY, HUM DIL CHUKE SANAM & others, it was hard to digest seeing him in a buffoonery role like this along with Kangana Ranaut & Sanjay Dutt.
MEHBOOBA:While MEHBOOBA must be Ajay’s strategic choice as he signed it after HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM (as per the reports), unfortunately by the time the film, that was stuck for over a decade, released, it became obsolete. Having said that, Ajay’s role and the script was also not well etched out.
RGV KI AAG:Besides RGV, it is touted to be Ajay’s worst ever choice of his career. Not only the critics panned it, even the audiences were in disbelief! It became a laughing-stock for B-town.
TEZZ:Ajay’s Priyadarshan helmed TEZZ was really slow at Box-office. It went highly unnoticed and Ajay was slammed for opting this film.
