Actor Aamir Khan today met a parliamentary panel to discuss medical problems plaguing India that were highlighted in an episode of his new television show ‘Satyamev Jayate’.

Khan, along with members of his ‘Satyamev Jayate’ team, attended the meeting for which he was invited by a political leader who heads the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce.

The 47-year-old actor, who is known for taking social causes to the masses successfully through his films, was invited to discuss issues like doctors taking monetary cuts and other unethical medical practices spotlighted on an episode of his debut TV show.
