This happens quite rarely but it has been the case for Abhay Deol’s ONE BY TWO. The film, which was originally planned for 7th February release, has now been preponed by a week. It would now release on 31st January which means not just it would arrive alongside Ali Zafar’s TOTAL SIYAPAA, it would also be releasing just a week after Salman Khan’s JAI HO.

The new release plan makes sense because otherwise it would have come alongside HASEE TOH PHASEE. The promo of this Sidharth Malhotra-Parineeti Chopra starrer has met with a fantastic response and to have two rom-coms on the same day could well have been counter productive.”
Instead, an arrival alongside TOTAL SIYAPAA is being looked at as a better option since the E. Niwas directed film is basically a comedy of errors.
It would be interesting to see Abhay and Ali clash though since both actors believe in natural style of acting. None of the two follow quintessential Bollywood grammar of emoting on screen.
Another trivia attached to the two films is that they both feature one film old heroines. While Yami Gautam has been seen only in VICKY DONOR before, Abhay’s live-in girlfriend Preeti Desai was last seen in SHOR IN THE CITY (2011) many moons ago.
