Not only did Abhishek accompany his father Amitabh Bachchan at the Sunday meet outside their Juhu house, he even visited a theatre in Mumbai to gauge the reaction of people after watching HAPPY NEW YEAR. And Junior Bachchan doesn’t seem to be disappointed.
Proud father Amitabh Bachchan posted about the same on a micro-blogging site. “T 1656 -Abhishek gets his Nandu Bhide time..!!,” shared Big B.

Senior Bachchan also posted about it on his blog. He wrote, “The well wishers surge in numbers.. they are excited and loud in their love .. the gates unable to contain their enthusiasm, are not enough to hold them at a distance .. there is a special attraction today -Abhishek aka Nandu Bhide from HNY.”
He further added, “But Abhishek has his own moment at a theatre he visits showing HNY .. and his own moment with the well wishers of Nandu .. feel a sense of pride to see him thus .. not new to it .. but still new is never enough when children are concerned.”
HAPPY NEW YEAR, directed by Farah Khan and which also starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff in the lead, released on October 24, 2014.
