Abhishek Bachchan, who is busy shooting HAPPY NEW YEAR, has associated himself with the Pro Kabaddi League.
Abhishek, a sports enthusiast himself, owns the franchise of Jaipur in this league.
Ask him what fascinated him to associate with this sport and he says, "This is our National sport and it is competitive in nature and that is what has attracted me."
He further adds, "Sportsmen in our country aren't taken seriously and I want to change that mindset."
Jr. Bachchan also admitted at the event that it is because of his father, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, that he has knowledge about Kabaddi. "I came to know about Kabaddi when I first saw dad play it in his movie GANGA KI SAUGANDH and I thank him for it," explains Abhishek.
Quiz him whether he himself has played the sport and he reveals, "When I was small, I used to play it for my school. Also I used to play it with my cousins."
