Tips Industries' latest offering RAMAIYA VASTAVAIYA seems to shaping up in a nice manner to emerge as a winner at the box office when it is released and could see the rise of a new star in the world of Hindi cinema in 2013 in the form of Girish Kumar who is the son of Kumar Taurani, owner of Tips Music which is producing the film.
As a matter of fact it has all the ingredients that made AASHIQUI 2 (2013's big hit) to a super duper success, and it could be the second 100 crore film. The parallels that are being drawn are owing to the amazing chemistry that has been displayed by the lead player of Girish Kumar and Shruti Haasan in RAMAIYA VASTAVAIYA songs and promos. The music of the film has been a hit and it is owing to the wonderful chemistry that is being displayed in the songs which have been released so far, between Girish Kumar and Shruti Haasan. While Shruti Haasan was looking out of place in her earlier film LUCK, here she seems to be totally in sync with the character and is showing great timing in the song. It was the chemistry of the stars, backing of Bhatts & T-Series and of course the beautiful songs that had been majorly responsible for AASHIQUI 2 to be huge success.
Music has always been a forte of the films produced by Tips and they had the first 100 crore film for the year 2013 in the form of RACE 2 which could scale the mark owing to its music. RAMAIYA VASTAVAIYA is being directed by arguably the hot-shot director Prabhudheva who has now emerged as the man with Midas touch, as the buzz is that even Saif Ali Khan has approached him to direct a movie for his banner.
