In his fight against corruption, megastar Amitabh Bachchan‘s character in the upcoming political saga SATYAGRAHA, directed by Prakash Jha, decides to fast a la real life social activist Anna Hazare.

The makers recently released a poster which features Amitabh, with Arjun Rampal and Ajay Devgn on either side, and it reads: ‘Aamran Anshan (indefinite hunger strike)’.

Prakash Jha, director of SATYAGRAHA says, ‘This is one very crucial moment of SATYAGRAHA where Amitabh Bachchan takes this tough stand against corruption and decides to fast unto death in his fight against corruption.’
SATYAGRAHA is slated to release in August this year. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee.
