The movie was a commercial ‘masala’ movie with all ingredients like big sets, big stars, action, comedy and music by Kalyanji Anandji, who also scored for DON and MUQADDAR KA SIKANDAR. The movie had top stars like Sharmila Tagore, Bindu, Amjad Khan and Deven Verma.

The other highlight of the movie was that the movie was famous comedian Devan Verma’s debut film as producer and director. Another remarkable feature of the movie was that Deven Verma played a triple role like Mehmood in HUMJOLI. The only difference being in HUMJOLI Mehmood imitated the three generations of Kapoors -Prithviraj, Raj and the Randhir Kapoor, while Deven Verma played son, father and mother’s three roles!
