Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar are coming together for the upcoming romantic comedy, Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The makers released a quirky motion poster, offering a glimpse of the film’s unusual premise and chemistry. The poster reads: “Yahaan pyaar ki geometry thodi twisted hai kyunki ye love triangle nahi, pura circle hai! #MereHusbandKiBiwi.” The film adopts a fresh and humorous tone. Fans thoroughly enjoyed seeing it, one fan excitedly commenting, “Can’t waittttttttt,” while another said, “That would be Damnn beautiful Chemistry between Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet.”
The romantic comedy Mere Husband Ki Biwi is being directed by Mudassar Aziz, who was previously involved with Pati Patni Aur Woh, Happy Bhag Jayegi, and Khel Khel Mein. The film is reported to be comic relief and is set to release on February 21, 2025, with Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh as producers.
On the work front, Arjun was last seen in the movie Singham Again as an important part of the whole action-oriented feature of rom-com filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, starring Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh, inspired by the mythological story, the Ramayana.
Rakul Preet Singh is preparing for a sequel to De De Pyaar De, which is going to be helmed by Anshul Sharma. Meanwhile, Bhumi Pednekar is foraying into the digital space with her web series debut in Daldal, where she plays a cop, which is set to stream on Prime Video next year. Besides this, Bhumi is also starring in The Royals, a web show alongside Ishaan Khatter, Nora Fatehi, Chunky Panday, and other celebs.
