Arjun Rampal is looking at an impressive summer ahead. He would be seeing two major films of his releasing a month apart from each other, D-DAY and SATYAGRAHA, and in both the films, he has a strong part to enact. Moreover the films also take him into the zone that of high drama and thrills, something that has time and again worked for him.

”Yes, at the core of it, D-DAY is a thriller cum drama with a lot of action in it. The whole film is like a conspiracy theory that something like this or that could have actually happened and what you see on the face isn’t something that reflects reality,” Arjun drops a hint here without revealing much about the film which is directed by Nikhil Advani.

While one waits to see what indeed happens in this multi-starrer that also stars Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, Arjun is apparently turning into a ‘killer’ for D-DAY which is currently in post-production and is aiming for 19th July release.
”Well, ‘killer’ would be wrong word here,” laughs Arjun, ”I am basically playing an agent who turns assassin. There is a back story to him around whether he has any heart whatsoever and why does he kill people. The film has a might impressive script and I am sure the way Nikhil is planning to pitch the film for the audience, we have a huge winner on hands.”
