Arshad reunites with Sunny after a decade

It was exactly a decade ago when Sunny Deol and Arshad Warsi had shared screen space. The film was JAANI DUSHMAN (2002) and post that even though Arshad has worked with another veteran actor Sanjay Dutt in quite a few films, there was never an opportunity for him to pair up with Sunny again. However when the principal cast of BHAIYYAJI SUPERHIT was being decided and director Neeraj Pathak was scouting for other actors who would fit into the respective parts for this action comedy, it was Arshad Warsi who instantly made a cut.

''Arshad is playing a fantastic character and trust me he would be one of the major highlights of the film. Incidentally Arshad has hardly worked with Sunny despite being in the industry for a decade and a half. They would definitely make for a great combination,'' says Pathak.

Another actor who was roped in for his comic timing was Tusshar Kapoor. Reveals Neeraj, ''Tusshar is playing a Bengali writer in the film and is so correct for its genre. Amongst the leading ladies, while Ameesha Patel is already confirmed, even Preity Zinta may come on board soon as well opposite Sunny. Meanwhile there are slots available for the girls opposite Arshad and Tusshar.''

With his cast almost in place and the film carrying some good buzz around it, Neeraj is happy that unlike RIGHT YAAA WRONG which was hardly in the news and didn't make any noise whatsoever even on its release, BHAIYAAJI SUPERHIT is carrying the right vibes even before going on the floors.

''I guess the title has done the trick,' Neeraj perks up here, ''This one is a comic action film and the title suits the genre really well. There is a smile that is bound to come on just hearing the title. I guess that's half a battle won because when the title is good and the star cast is impressive, logon mein ek interest apne aap ban jaata hai. We are sure that this film is going to hit the bull's eye.''

With Mithun Chakraborty as well as Prakash Raj in the film, BHAIYAAJI SUPERHIT is slated for release early next year.

Meanwhile, take a look at Sunny's perilous avatar in the film.
