Finally Asin is not complaining. Having tasted success with her last release HOUSEFULL 2, that went on to reach the 100 crore target, one can spot a sense of euphoria in Asin’s demeanor these days.

Asin’s sense of achievement partly comes from the fact that despite being an outsider she has managed to find a firm footing in Bollywood. Asin, in every sense of the word is a self made star.
Speaking about her tryst with Bollywood and the journey so far, Asin says, “The fact that I made a breakthrough and did films with Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and now Akshay Kumar is great. Out of the four films I did, three are Rs. 100 crore hits. With this kind of success ratio I guess I have done well for myself. I would say, I have made it without g godfathers and grandfathers.”

Asin, who is often labeled tad conservative as far as exposing her body on-screen is concerned has her own stand to offer and defend her decision. Says she, “I’ll cross the bridge when I come to it. I’ve never been approached for such roles. I don’t think I’ll be comfortable doing bold scenes or films that have too much of sexual content.”
While Asin might be celebrating herself scripted victory, we hope her detractors who had written her off long time back read this news item too.
