The prominent new releases of the week, Sunny Deol’s BLANK and Ashwini Chaudhari’s Aftab-Shreyas starrer SETTERS, failed to achieve anything significant at the box-office. Just as expected and predicted, AVENGERS:ENDGAME again dominated the ticket window.
Meanwhile Hollywood’s AVENGERS : ENDGAME netted a huge 260 crore during the opening week from India, thus beating the best Hindi film record of Salman Khan’s SULTAN (208-210 crore), comprehensively and is now all set to cross the 300 crore mark in a jiffy!
Concluding with Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala’s multi-starrer KALANK, starring Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri, Sonakshi, Alia, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy, the film saw a paltry 8 crore during the second outing, thus netting 83 crore (to be validated) in two weeks from India and is a box-office debacle.
