Mahakumbh 2025, held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has drawn devotees from around the world, including several Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities. Among them, Bollywood actress Esha Gupta made headlines with her unexpected visit, embracing a traditional look that captivated social media.
Ditching her usual glamorous avatar, Esha was seen wearing a saffron saree as she took a dip in the holy waters of the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet. She also donned a mustard-colored suit while seeking blessings from a guru in a pandal. Sharing her experience on social media, she captioned her post, ‘Divy Kumbh, Bhavy Kumbh #Mahakumbh2025’. She was also spotted alongside Uttar Pradesh’s Minister for Export Promotion, Nandi Gupta, and motivational speaker Indresh Upadhyay.

Esha Gupta’s Views on Mahakumbh
In a video shared by IANS, Esha addressed her presence at Mahakumbh, emphasizing her spiritual connection over her Bollywood identity. “Bollywood actors ka kaam nahi hai ke woh auron pe tipanni dein, toh main nahi dena chahungi. Bollywood actors ka kaam hai acting karna. Main yaha pe Bollywood actor ke haisiyat se nahi aayi hoon,” she stated. She further elaborated, “Main yaha Sanatan Dharam ke haisiyat se aayi hoon, ek beti aur ek Bharatiya ke taur par aayi hoon.” Encouraging people to attend, she added, “Chahe dharam ke liye aaye ya karam ke liye aaye, par aaye zaroor.”
