Actor Celina Jaitly has made a heartfelt appeal to media outlets and photographers, urging them not to use images of her children in any coverage related to her. On Friday, the actress shared a note on social media, stating, “DEAR MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA, I HUMBLY REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING MY CHILDREN’S PHOTOGRAPHS IN ANY NEWS COVERAGE REGARDING MY LEGAL CASES.”
Celina added, “I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR YOUR SENSITIVITY AND UNDERSTANDING. A MOTHER WITH A BROKEN HEART, CELINA JAITLEY.” The appeal comes amid her ongoing legal proceedings against her husband, Austrian businessman Peter Haag, whom she has accused of subjecting her to emotional, physical, verbal, and financial abuse.
Sharing her ordeal on social media, Celina wrote poignantly about her struggles, stating, “In the middle of the strongest, most turbulent storm of my life, I never imagined I would spend it fighting alone, without any parents, without any support system. I never thought there would come a day without all the pillars on which the roof of my world once rested: my parents, my brother, my children & the one who promised to stand by me, love me, care for me & bear every trouble with me.”
She further reflected on her resilience, adding, “Life stripped everything away… People I trusted walked away… Promises I believed in broke in silence… But the storm did not drown me. It delivered me… It tossed me out of violent waters onto warm sands… It forced me to meet the woman inside me who refuses to die.”
Celina’s legal battles have extended beyond her marital issues. A few weeks ago, she reportedly approached the Delhi court seeking assistance for her brother, Major (retired) Vikrant Jaitly, claiming he was “illegally abducted and detained” in the United Arab Emirates.
Regarding her personal life, Celina tied the knot with Peter Haag in a court wedding on August 23, 2011. The couple welcomed their first set of twin sons, Winston and Viraaj, in 2012. Five years later, in 2017, they had another set of twin boys, Shamsher and Arthur. Tragically, the same year, the couple lost their newborn twin, Shamsher.
Celina’s public appeal underscores her desire to protect her children from media scrutiny amid deeply personal and challenging circumstances. As the actress navigates both legal and emotional battles, her message reflects a plea for compassion, sensitivity, and privacy for her family during this difficult time.
