In DABANGG, Sonakshi Sinha had a relatively smaller role to play and still managed to make her presence felt in a major way, courtesy her iconic dialogue 'Thappad Se Darr Nahi Lagta, Pyaar Se Lagta Hai' as well as a couple of song sequences. Now with DABANGG 2 being less than 100 hours away, does the Bihari girl get into a much stronger avatar?
''Well yes, she has got a very significant role in the film and there is a difference in her characterization as well. There is so much difference that has come in Rajjo's personality in the sequel when compared to the first one; she is a different Rajjo altogether. Moreover, she is a much married woman now and has moved on with Chulbul,'' informs an insider.
On the other hand, there is a new entrant in the form of Kareena Kapoor Khan who is dancing to the tune of 'Fevicol Se' with Salman Khan. The song has gained quite some brownie points for the film and is a chartbuster already.
''Well, this one is THE item number in DABANGG 2. Moreover, this is the first time ever that Kareena and Salman are coming together for a dance number. Otherwise, in each of their films so far (KYUN KI, MAIN AURR MRS. KHANNA, BODYGUARD), they have done love songs but no dance numbers. 'Fevicol Se' compensates for that,'' a source adds.
When contacted, Arbaaz Khan said, ''Farah Khan has done a great job in choreographing 'Fevicol Se' which is totally in the mood of what DABANGG stands for. We clearly have a winner here. As for Sonakshi then well, in the film romance is there but very different from the kind you saw earlier when it was mainly about their courtship. There is a different kind of equation to her relationship with Salman with a new take on maturity.''
