Emraan Hashmi and his lovely ‘daayans’ – Konkona Sen Sharma, Kalki Koechelin and Huma Qureshi – have reunited in Mumbai and will shoot for the forthcoming EK THI DAAYAN. However that led to quite a few eyebrows being raised as the film is less than a month from release. That said, in line with Balaji tradition, films are shot till the n-th hour, as was the case with RAGINI MMS and KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM, both hits.

As the makers are known for their meticulous planning, tongues started wagging about Ekta Kapoor putting her foot down for a small part of the film to be re-shot. Turns out to be yet another case of careless rumor-mongering.
Clarifies Tanuj Garg, CEO – Balaji Motion Pictures, in an amused tone, ‘Yes, we are shooting for the film but there is no re-work. Anyone associated with films would know of something known as patch work. We also had a few shots here and there that were remaining to be shot and we are briskly completing the work to ready the film for an April 18 release.’

Emraan Hashmi has taken out a few days from his other film shoot in Patiala to accommodate the remainder work on EK THI DAAYAN.
Adds Tanuj, ‘We have a great product on hand and we’re delighted with the response that the first track ‘Yaaram’ has received.’
