The likes of Kanti Shah may well be ruling the C-Grade market but when it comes to A-grade adult-only content Ekta Kapoor continues to be the Numero Uno queen. With RAGINI MMS-2 all set to be among the Top-5 'adult-only' hits till date, one can expect more from her production house in the coming years.

'This is huge because RAGINI MMS-2 is now being spoken of in the same vein as GHAJINI and GRAND MASTI, which made 100 crores each despite an 'A' certificate. Though RAGINI MMS-2 won't come close to that, it would still be in the Top-5, as the only other films to have fared better are THE DIRTY PICTURE (85 crores) and RAAZ 3 (70 crores),' informs a trade source. He adds, ''Also, let's not forget that RAGINI MMS-2 has been made on a much smaller budget than these films.''
Incidentally, every film in the list after this is a Balaji production. While KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM net 45 crores in India, SHOOTOUT AT WADALA stood at 55 crores, a total that should be comfortably surpassed by RAGINI MMS-2 which has already crossed 45 crores. All are 'A'-rated films. That said, Balaji's next features are universal entertainers, MAIN TERA HERO, and THE VILLAIN.
Meanwhile, Ekta is thrilled with the way RAGINI MMS-2 has fared. 'Its success allows me to further experiment and push the envelope,' she says. Well, with nothing much left to the imagination in the Sunny Leone-starrer, one waits to see what remains of the envelope when it gets pushed further.
