TV heartthrob Barun Sobti has a huge fan following and is often called as SRK of Indian television. Although he is not on social media but people are crazy for him and follows him religiously.
Even Barun loves his fans and never ever disappoints them. Currently he is seen in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 playing an angry young man, but in real life he is totally opposite of what he portrays on-screen.
He will be seen in TU HAI MERA SUNDAY(THMS) playing a jovial character, where he is a footballer and how one day the team isn’t allowed to play football at Juhu beach and how that changes their life. It’s a slice of life film, wherein life of every person is interlinked and how they find answers to toughest questions of life.
In exclusive conversation with Barun Sobti spoke at length about his upcoming film THMS, his wife, and what does he usually do on Sundays.
Talking about the film Barun shared, “It’s a fun film and I loved being part of it, I love to play football and while shooting we had fun. As far as the choices of films are concerned when I like the script I go for it.”
On being asked about his contemporaries like Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajeev Khandewal who started with television are now into films and does he feel it’s a rather slow start for him in films to which he replies coolly, “Everyone has its journey and they get everything when the time is right.”
When asked about his fans and how his wife takes the crazy things those fans do for him he avers, “My wife knows it that they are fans, and for me my fans are really important. I am overwhelmed by the way my fans love me. As far as my roles are concerned on television, acting is all about what you are not in real life.”
As the film is titled TU HAI MERA SUNDAY, when asked what he does on Sundays, Barun said,“I usually work, and if I don’t work I spend time with my friends and family.”
