Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have been in the spotlight with speculations about their future plans to raise a family, but recent media buzz claims that the couple is pregnant with their first child. Farhan’s stepmother, however, Shabana Azmi, swiftly silenced the speculation in a recent interview with Etimes. Shabana flatly dismissed the reports by saying, “There’s no truth to it,” and closed the door on the swirling gossip.
Farhan and Shibani, who got married in a private ceremony in February 2022, have been pretty candid about their relationship and often share moments from their life together on social media. Their love story has received attention, but according to Shabana, the buzz about an impending addition to their family is not true.

Other news: recently, Farhan Akhtar celebrated his birthday with dear ones, with his cousin and birthday twin sister, Farah Khan. The couple was spotted sharing some quality celebration time at Farhan’s house in Mumbai. Farah created a lovely little reel where one could see how Farhan unboxed an extra-special gift she had chosen for him- the DVD of Manoj Kumar’s 1981 movie Kranti, his favorite film. As he unwrapped the gift, Farhan just couldn’t stop laughing and even started singing the title track of Kranti. Farah captioned the post: “What do you gift your little brother who has everything? A piece of our childhood, of course! Happy birthday @faroutakhtar #capri9. Keep the kranti going! #favouritefilm.”
On the professional front, Farhan is preparing to launch his war drama 120 Bahadur, in which he will essay Major Shaitan Singh, PVC, based on the Battle of Rezang La. The date for the movie has not been declared yet; however, what is being witnessed about Farhan’s performance in the movie is already well in anticipation. On the direction front, Farhan will direct Don 3, which has been one of the most eagerly awaited sequels in the Don franchise. The movie will star Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani, with reports suggesting that Priyanka Chopra might make her Bollywood comeback with this installment.
Farhan’s fans are certainly excited for his upcoming projects, while the couple’s personal life remains private despite the rumours.
