Producer Ritesh Sidhwani has been hunting for locations for the shoot of his upcoming film ROCK ON!! 2.
Ritesh shared about it on a microblogging site writing, ”Tom morning location scout for #RockOn2 begins.. Can u guess which state & city?”

He got various replies, but none were right. Asking people to try harder he said, ”I’ve got Banglore Delhi Goa Shimla till now as the possible location for #Rockon2. Sab Galat hai. Come on try harder”

Finally he revealed the location. ”Shillong it is” he posted. Now that Ritesh has been scouting Shillong, the shoot of ROCK ON!! 2 might just take place in this beautiful city.
ROCK ON!! 2 is set to go on floors this year and will feature the trio from the first part- Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli. And addition to the cast will be Shraddha Kapoor, who plays a young girl. She joins the band and brings about a lot of changes. She will also sing in the film.
