Very much as expected, Homi Adajania’s FINDING FANNY has performed much better than the Vikram Bhatt venture CREATURE 3D.
The reason, as we have already discussed is that the Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor starrer, FINDING FANNY, is doing very well at premium multiplexes which have steep ticket rates.
As per the stats made available (subject to validation), during the opening weekend FINDING FANNY has netted nearly 20 crores while the Bipasha Basu starrer CREATURE 3D has managed 12 crores.
Additionally FINDING FANNY has also done very well in overseas with $1.6m, grossing £101,000 from UK and $535,000 from the US during the opening weekend (12-14 September).
