Actor Ravi Dubey, who is all set to play Lakshman in Nitesh Tiwari’s epic film Ramayana, was recently spotted offering prayers at the sacred Vindhyavashini Temple in Vindhyachal, located in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur. The actor, known for his spiritual side, shared glimpses of his temple visit on social media, reflecting deep gratitude and reverence.
Dressed in a traditional white kurta-pyjama, Ravi participated in the Ganga aarti ceremony, holding a large brass aarti lamp with glowing flames. With a tilak adorning his forehead, he was seen offering prayers in a serene atmosphere amidst fellow devotees. Surrounded by temple authorities and security, the actor was also seen folding his hands and seeking blessings from Goddess Vindhyavashini.
Sharing pictures and videos from his visit, Ravi wrote on Instagram: “Grateful for this divine experience. Jai maa… Maa Vindhyavashini’s darbar now shines brighter with the Vindhya Corridor.” He also thanked Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister for ensuring a smooth and peaceful pilgrimage experience.

Ravi Dubey’s temple visit comes at a significant moment in his career as he prepares to portray one of the most revered characters in Indian mythology—Lakshman—in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious cinematic adaptation of Ramayana.
