As is always the case with Sajid Khan films (barring a HIMMATWALA), once again the critics have been ignored by the cinema audience, resulting in a good 38-39 crore (to be validated) opening weekend for his latest, HUMSHAKALS.

The Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Bipasha Basu, Chunky Pandey, Ram Kapoor and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer, HUMSHAKALS, has also grossed $2m during its first weekend (20 June- 22 June) from the overseas.
The reasonably stable Monday, and the fact that HUMSHAKALS has already recovered a sizeable amount of its total investment, via non-theatrical rights, are pointers to the fact that Fox Star Studios, Vashu Bhagnani and Sajid Khan will have the last laugh.
