Reports suggesting the couple was heading for a divorce, including claims that Sunita sent a divorce notice six months ago, had sparked widespread media attention. However, Govinda’s lawyer confirmed that the couple has worked through their issues and are back on track.
Sunita Opens Up and Clarifies Misunderstandings
To set the record straight, a viral video of Sunita has surfaced, where she directly addresses the rumors and explains the situation. Speaking to Hindi Rush, Sunita revealed the real reason behind their decision to live in separate homes. She said that when Govinda entered politics, their daughter was growing up, and party workers frequently visited their home. This led them to take up an office nearby, allowing for a more comfortable living arrangement, especially since they preferred moving freely at home. Sunita emphasized, “There is nobody who can separate me and Govinda.”

Lawyer Confirms Couple is Doing Fine
Adding to Sunita’s statements, Govinda’s lawyer and family friend Lalit Bindal confirmed that despite filing for divorce six months ago, the couple is now stronger than ever. Bindal clarified that the couple had traveled to Nepal together during the New Year and even performed a puja at Pashupati Nath Mandir. He reassured fans by saying, “They are going strong and will always be together.”
The couple, married since March 1987 and blessed with two children, Tina and Yashvardhan, continues to stand by each other, despite the rumors and misunderstandings circulating on social media.
