Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is going full throttle for her comeback vehicle JAZBAA! Recently, the news was widespread that the actress, who is essaying the role of a fiery lawyer, will be mouthing some hard-hitting and startling dialogues in the film.

Ash, who has mostly played soft & elegant roles, for the first time will be seen in a tough avatar. In fact, if we look at the history of Indian Cinema, we haven’t quite seen actresses uttering harsh lines. Very few Bollywood actresses (like Vidya Balan in THE DIRTY PICTURE) must have attempted to mouth crisp lines. Essentially, it has been the prerogative of actors like Salman Khan, who always impressed with their sharp yet striking punchlines.

In fact, it is Salman Khan’s films that are packed with high voltage charged dialogues (e.g. EK Baar Jo Maine Commitment Kar Di For Toh Main Apne Aap Ki Bhi Nahi Sunta, Mujh par ek ehsan karna ki mujh par koi ehsan na karma, etc). So it would be interesting to now see his ex-flame Aishwarya going his way, although unintentionally. While Salman has left an indelible mark with his kick-ass dialogues & uncanny style of delivering them, let’s see what impact Aishwarya creates with her edgy lines.
It is being said that director Sanjay Gupta has hired writers Robin bhatt and Kamlesh Pandey for the first time since his debut film, AATISH (1994) to come up with some nice, crisp dialogues for Aishwarya, keeping her character in mind.
Also starring Irrfan Khan, Siddhanth Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Priya Banerjee, Anupam Kher JAZBAA, is all set to release on October 9, 2015.
