Indian Idol 2 winner Sandeep Acharya passed away on December 15 after suffering from jaundice for almost a fortnight. Sandeep, who hailed from Rajasthan, had been admitted to a hospital in Bikaner but later shifted to Medanta hospital in Gurgaon, where he breathed his last.

He was the winner of popular singing reality show in 2006 and is survived by his wife and a month old daughter.
