Actor Irrfan Khan attended a press meet held to discuss about the Hollywood film THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, where the actor plays Dr. Ratha.

Talking about the film, Irrfan said, “It’s a fantasy movie. And it is supposed to make you feel positive and that’s the film is all about. I am playing a pivotal role in it, and enjoyed whatever part I played. The film has turned out very good. There are very fantastic performances. I would not like to include myself in that. However, there are some like Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen and Andrew Garfield who are excellent in the film.”

When asked to speak about his role more elaborately, Irrfan frankly said, “See, I am just playing a small role in this film. Andrew Garfield is the PAAN SINGH of this film.”
“Reason why I am chosen for this is… I just enjoyed my trip and don’t look for reasons. I don’t want to be called the only one who is doing this. I am happy whatever I am getting,” he added further.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Martin Sheen. The movie releases next week in India.
