At the first song launch event, when asked if Sachin will do a cameo in the film, Vidhu Vinod Chopra neither confirmed nor denied it. He simply decided to take a ‘main chup rahoonga’ stance. However, the new trailer said it all.
If you recall, the first trailer of the film referred to Sanjay Dutt‘s Ferrari. The second one is about Sachin’s Ferrari. Obviously, the film has something to do with Sachin now.

Since it is about cricket, Sachin’s association will be of great help in promoting the film. The question is if Sanjay Dutt will take kindly to being dumped so unceremoniously. He should not mind it. It was Vidhu Vinod Chopra who gave a new lease of life to his controversy-ridden career and life and established him as a benevolent lovable goon in MUNNABHAI MBBS.
The star owes a great deal to Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Moreover, MUNNABHAI will be a mismatch with Lord’s, and Sachin a perfect fit.
