Even though Tiger Shroff was in news for last couple of years as far as his Bollywood debut was concerned, ultimately Shroff family trusted Sajid Nadiadwala to deliver goods and entrusted him to give a proper launch with the Sabbir Khan directed film that is all set to go on floors soon.
”I am sure Sajid is going to take good care of Tiger. With him coming in, it is like his own family member being launched,” says Jackie, ”He is a very strong producer and always plays on the front foot. He along with director Sabbir Khan has assured Tiger for a wonderful launch. Knowing Tiger’s dedication to the craft, I am sure he will do well. Moreover, usmein kaafi kadar hai apne se badon ke liye. He respects Sajid like the way he respects me.”

While Jackie is indeed trusting Sajid here, how about his own three decades of working experience? As a father, one can well expect him to give suggestions to his son when it comes to the ever-predictable business of Bollywood.

”See, Tiger has a manager who looks after his business and together they decide what he should be doing next. Moreover aajkal ke bachche bade ho gaye hai; they give me suggestions,” laughs Jackie, ”They are more focused and disciplined than the way we used to be. They know exactly what they want, kya karna chahiye, kab sona chahiye, kaisi diet maintain karni chahiye. In fact my advice to all parents is that don’t advice your kids. Let them grow, give them your best and allow them to flourish. Haan, hamein lagta hai hum unke baap hain par woh bhi samajhdaar hain.”
Guess it was this very ‘samajhdaari’ that resulted in Tiger biding his time before saying ‘yes’ to a project. Now here is hoping that the wait is indeed worth it.
