The eagerly-awaited trailer of Param Sundari, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, is now out. The romantic drama, directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, is scheduled to release in theatres on August 29.
A Love Story Set in God’s Own Country
Against the stunning Kerala landscape, the trailer takes us on a rich visual ride of monsoon-drenched roads, picturesque backwaters, and old churches. It is the love story of a free-wheeling Delhi boy (Sidharth) and a grounded Kerala girl (Janhvi), whose cultural difference leads to conflict and chemistry.
In a scene reminiscent of classic Bollywood romances, the pair navigate tradition, language, and love to build something deeper—tapping into the nostalgic vibe of SRK-Kajol while staying fresh and modern.

Janhvi Kapoor called the role deeply personal, sharing,“Sundari’s grace, quiet strength, and love for her roots resonate with my South Indian heritage. Shooting in Kerala was emotionally grounding.”

Director Tushar Jalota said the film is a celebration of contrast and added,

Written by Sachin–Jigar and Amitabh Bhattacharya, the soundtrack of the movie is already finding support. The track “Pardesiya” is a fan favourite with its upbeat tune, while the monsoon song “Bheegi Saree” is creating strong buzz.
