QUEEN kick-starts proceedings with a Delhi-wala wedding sequence. The environs were important and would add their own sets-appeal too.
Vintee Bansal, production designer and art designer, who crafted the sets of the film says, ”The brief was that I had to show the wedding in progress and it wasn’t meant to be shown as a set that was completely ready.”

For Bansal, a graduate in Interior Designing from Delhi University, QUEEN is one more feather in her cap, with a filmography that includes WARNING and FUGLY.

Presented by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, QUEEN is a Phantom Production. The Kangana Ranaut-starrer is directed by Vikas Bahl, and produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Vikramaditya Motwane & Anurag Kashyap. QUEEN, which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon, is slated to illumine screens, come March 7, 2014.
