When approached for his comments, Karan said, “At Dharma, we have already introduced nine directors. We are extremely proud of their films. Taking the train of thought further, we plan to expand our production base and launch many more first time filmmakers in the immediate future.”

And thus they continue… this year Dharma Production is launching another young talent under its banner. For the first time, Dharma will give break to a lady director! Sonam Nair will make her directorial debut with a Dharma Productions movie. The title of the film is not yet finalized, however Karan Johar has officially announced the news.
