Sunjay Kapur reportedly died of a heart attack during a game of polo in the UK on June 12. Onlookers say he fell mid-game. A few reports also say that he might have swallowed a bee by mistake, which might have led to the medical crisis.
A Leader in the Auto Industry
Kapur served as the Chairman of Sona Comstar, a leading auto technology firm catering to global EV and conventional vehicle makers. He was also President of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and son of Dr. Surinder Kapur, founder of the Sona Group.

Sunjay Kapur wedded Karisma Kapoor in 2003, and the two had two kids, Samaira and Kiaan, before divorcing in 2016. He then wedded Priya Sachdev, an ex-model and entrepreneur. The two have a son, Azarias, born in 2018.
