Khushi Kapoor recently turned heads as she walked the ramp for acclaimed designer Rimzim Dadu on Day 7 of the India Couture Week 2025 held in New Delhi. Making a strong fashion statement, the young actress dazzled as the showstopper for Dadu’s latest couture line, Oxynn a futuristic blend of tradition and modern craftsmanship.
Oxynn: A Metallic Tale of Tradition and Innovation
Rimzim Dadu’s Oxynn collection explores the intersection of memory and metal, blending traditional Indian elements with a modern twist. Known for her experimental fabric techniques, Dadu created sculptural garments that stood out on the runway. Khushi Kapoor’s ensemble was a highlight of the show—a two-piece outfit featuring a halter-neck bralette-style blouse crafted from sculptural metallic material paired with a sleek, matching grey skirt. The edgy metallic textures brought structure and drama to the look, while the silver choker-style necklace enhanced the neckline, adding to the glamour.
Audience Reactions and Online Buzz
As videos of Khushi’s ramp walk surfaced online, reactions poured in from fans and critics alike. While many praised her poise and stylish appearance, others drew comparisons between her walk and that of American reality star Kim Kardashian. One Instagram comment read, “She is copying Kim Kardashian’s sick walk,” with several users echoing similar sentiments. Nonetheless, Khushi’s charm and confident stride won over much of the audience at the event.
Khushi on Wearing the Look
Speaking to ANI, Khushi expressed her admiration for the design, saying, “I enjoy how it draws inspiration from the Banjara tribes of Gujarat, giving me a sense of home, while also incorporating a sense of modern style with its edginess and structure.” She added that the steel construction of the outfit was “insane,” and that each element of the design told a story, making her feel like she was wearing something authentic and meaningful.
