Seasoned film marketer Khyati Madaan, known for her decade-long stint with major studios like Red Chillies Entertainment, Disney India, and Maddock Films, is making her foray into film production. Under her newly launched banner Not Out Entertainment, she plans to bring bold, genre-spanning content to the big screen.
An Outsider with Academic Credibility
An alumna of IIM and NIFT, Khyati entered Bollywood without any industry connections. She first gained recognition in 2011 for developing India’s first statistical box-office prediction model, forecasting film performance with 95% accuracy. Her rare combination of data-driven thinking and creative instinct gives her a unique edge as a producer.

A Vision for Genre-Revival and Mass Appeal
“Bollywood is at an interesting crossroads,” Khyati says. “My goal is to bring back genres people love but the industry has sidelined. Storytelling should be democratic.” Her debut slate reflects this ethos.
A Power-Packed Debut Slate
First up is the sequel to a hit musical thriller, which recently completed shooting and is headed for a summer 2025 theatrical release.
Next is a slice-of-life drama helmed by Habib Faisal, the National Award-winning writer-director of Do Dooni Chaarand Ishaqzaade. Set in Delhi, it features a stellar ensemble cast. Rounding out the lineup is Abhootpurva, a bold “Rom-Hor-Com” blending tragic romance with horror-comedy. Set in 1990s Agra, it promises both nostalgia and novelty.
What’s Next for Not Out Entertainment
With two more films in casting—a controversial biopic and another genre-bending entertainer—Khyati’s banner also plans to foray into sports content with a fresh-format cricket show in development.
