Kunal Khemu: Lack of good scripts bothered me

unal Khemu has been making a comeback of sorts with BLOOD MONEY later this month. One wonders though how as a professional he has been dealing with the emotions of being away from limelight for quite some time now.

After all, even though his last couple of movies were successful (GOLMAAL 3, 99), Kunal was almost untraceable before BLOOD MONEY brought him back into the reckoning.

"I will be very honest with you. Sometimes it did bother me ki arrey yaar yeh kya ho raha hai mere saath, why am I not getting some good scripts even though my last few films have been successful, etc. etc.

You do get a lot sad about it, especially when you know that you can actually act. I am also not too pushy when it comes to PR and many friends keep telling me that I should be seen more often at events and all. However I have always believed that it is my work that should do the maximum talking," Kunal bares his heart here.

Due to this inherent confidence, he managed to shrug off all such negative thoughts and get back into the scheme of things once again by working out BLOOD MONEY with the Bhatts.

"I have always done the kind of work that I really like doing. Otherwise I would have already signed 20 movies in last few years. Also, I can never continue thinking for an extended period of time that mere saath kuch galat ho raha hai. I have been instead positive and moved on to select the best which is coming my way," he cheers up here.

With Amrita Puri as the female lead, BLOOD MONEY releases all over on 30th March.
