While one waits to see Madhur Bhandarkar begin work on his next film, a musical, there are other engagements that are keeping him occupied. He has been roped in International Film Festival of India (IFFI), 2013, where he would play a prominent part as a Steering Committee member.

“IFFI is a very prestigious event which is sponsored by the Government of India. Madhur would have a key role to play in terms of getting the right films being screened and the various other events that form a part of this Film Festival,” confirms a source.

Other than various Government officials who are a part of the Committee, other prominent film personalities other than Madhur Bhandarkar are Sharmila Tagore and Rituparna Sengupta.
