”Both want to believe that all such negative talks – if at all they exist – are more of conspiracy theories than actually something that do exist. People love to talk whereas both are just doing their job which fascinates them’, says a source, ”The fact remains that Madhuri is working in a film being made by Anubhav’s production house and that is the positive part of the story.”
What was not so positive though was some of the backlash that the filmmaker received after RA.ONE. Despite the fact that the film made over 150 crores worldwide through just theatrical revenues and managed a hit status for itself, some out there have not been too kind in their reactions towards the film.

”These days it has become so fashionable to come up with headline that reads like ‘X, Y, Z film gets mixed response at the box office’. My thought here is that we are in a country where even when Mahatma Gandhi got mixed response and was shot dead. So if a movie gets a mixed response, what is really the big deal’, laughs Anubhav, ‘Of course some people hated RA.ONE and wanted to kill me after watching it. However I am also aware of those who loved the film and want me to make a sequel.”
On a parting note he adds, ”I must admit that the only person who hasn’t got mixed response right through his career is Rajkumar Hirani. His are the kind of films that have worked with bachche, boodhe aur jawaan. But then he is just one such filmmaker in the country, isn’t it?”
