Versatile actor Manoj Bajpayee is set to reunite with acclaimed filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma for a brand-new venture, Police Station Mein Bhoot — a horror-comedy, a genre neither of them has explored together before. The duo, known for classics like Satya, Kaun, and Shool, is ready to bring something fresh and spine-chilling to audiences.
Ram Gopal Varma Announces the Project
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ram Gopal Varma shared the announcement:
“After Satya, Kaun, and Shool, I am thrilled to announce that me and @BajpayeeManoj are teaming up again — this time for a HORROR COMEDY.”
Titled Police Station Mein Bhoot, the film’s tagline reads: “You Can’t Kill The Dead.” The plot follows a haunted police station that becomes the scene of supernatural chaos after a deadly encounter killing. The twist? The cops, usually the ones protecting us, now find themselves fleeing from ghosts of gangsters. With cutting-edge VFX and spine-tingling effects, the film promises both thrills and laughter.

The Family Man Season 3 Set for November Release
Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee also shared an exciting update about The Family Man Season 3. Speaking to OTT Play, he confirmed that the much-awaited season will release in November 2025. The new season features Jaideep Ahlawat, who earned acclaim in Paatal Lok, joining the original cast that includes Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha.
Following the huge success of Seasons 1 and 2 — especially with Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s iconic role in the second season — the third installment promises even more intensity and drama as Jaideep Ahlawat’s character goes head-to-head with Bajpayee’s Srikanth.
With a horror-comedy film and a gripping spy thriller on the way, 2025 is shaping up to be a stellar year for Manoj Bajpayee.
